WEB 1.0

The Web no longer functions as a dictionary or an encyclopedia. This was Web 1.0.which consisted of pushed content, or one way content, in the form of text, graphics and flash objects. Web 1.0 searches and the corresponding search results were based on matching “key words” embedded in Web sites with user provided “key words”. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) was intended to manipulate the “key words” system to obtain higher ranking in the search results.

The predominant Web 1.0 property was

the traditional Web site.

WEB 2.0

In 2004 MySpace.com and YouTube.com ushered in a new era for the Web. This new era is Web 2.0 and the Web now functions as a community, a global human community! Web 2.0 consists of shared content, or two way content, in the form of blogs, wikis, video, audio, podcasts, shared content, personal publishing, 2 way portals and social networks. With Web 2.0, searches and the corresponding search results are based on the user entering a search phrase for an answer to a question or a solution to a problem and the search engine comparing the search phrase with the stored content in its databases to return relevant search results. Self Expression Optimization™(SEO) requires attention to the details of the content and providing user friendly content. In other words, content that is created to be easily understood by the user is more likely to rank well in related search results.

The predominant Web 2.0 property is

the traditional Web site with a blog added on.

WEB 3.0

In 2009 we are on the cusp of Web 3.0 which takes the Web from a global human community sharing content to a “LIVE” global human community experiencing live content and interacting with it in real time! Web 3.0 will consist of “Interactive Real Time” portals, education, training, business, social interaction, games and more.

The predominant Web 3.0 property is a Web Hub site that is dynamic, interactive and able to accommodate and adjust to the ever evolving Web!

You need a Web Hub site because it is dynamic, interactive and able to accommodate and adjust to the ever evolving Web!
